DETAILS: Meet winemaker Giovanni Bertani, great-grandson of the mind behind Ripasso and Amarone, of Tenuta Santa Maria! He will be in-house to talk about his family's love and use of Recioto and Corvina as well as their traditional, yet innovative, approach to winemaking that produced these iconic styles of wine we know today.
Seating will occur all night long, with the daily menu designed around the wines on offer. Chef Paolo Laboa will prepare classic Genovese dishes that we all know and love, but be sure to expect traditional Veneto cuisine to pepper the menu as well. Since it is not a pre-fixe menu, you are welcome to eat as much or as little as you’d like–opt for a full family style, five-course affair with a complete flight of Giovanni’s wines or eat light with one course and a glass of wine. The choice is yours!
