A week of wine in Portland Maine
From the first sips at the opening seminars and grand tasting parties through the final setting sun on Sunday evening’s wine sail, it’s been an amazing 7 days and an amazing first year for Portland Wine Week.
We were blessed to have a fantastic group of wine luminaries both local to Portland and From Away to lead and participate in panels and seminars. Our incredible Portland restaurants and Maine-based distributors bent over backward to craft spectacular dinners and tastings that would both inspire and challenge your taste buds. Our generous Founding and Supporting sponsors helped underwrite the development and marketing of all the events, big and small, and we are so very grateful.
Most of all, we thank you, our participants, for joining our efforts in making this one spectacular week of wine in Portland, Maine by purchasing tickets, making reservations, and enjoying wines by the glass, flight, and bottle all over town all week long.
We hope you had a great time, learned something new about wine, and tried a vintage or varietal you’ve never had before. The exploration of wine is a grand pursuit and we are so glad you joined us on the journey.
We welcome your thoughts, feedback, and ideas on what you loved and what you think we can improve for future Portland Wine Weeks. Simply email us at email@example.com with the subject line “Feedback and Ideas.”
Thank you again, and cheers!!
