DETAILS: Maine and Loire hosts a tasting with winemaker Brianne Day. Brianne's wines will also be poured by the glass at Drifters Wife (named to the Bon Appétit list of the Top 10 Best New Restaurants of 2018) that evening.
Day Wines is a producer of site driven wines made of fruit sourced from organic or biodynamic vineyards in the Willamette and Applegate valleys of Oregon. The wines are made in a hands off manner, utilizing native fermentation, no additions or subtractions and minimal use of sulfur. All of the wines are unfined and most are unfiltered. Some of the wines draw stylistic inspiration from classic regions and some of the wines are the results of creative expression (which makes for a broad and eclectic line up).
COST: Free admission to tasting at Maine and Loire.
