DETAILS: Drifters Wife Chef Ben Jackson will use the best of local ingredients in Maine to create traditional Portuguese and Azores dishes to pair with wild, volcanic wines from the middle of the Atlantic Ocean! This 3-course (plus amuse and bread) meal will feature exceptional wine pairings from the Azores Wine Company.
Brendan Robb from National Distributors will be joined by Mike Smith from Obrigado Vinhos, who, along with Drifters Wife owners Orenda and Peter Hale, will be on hand to talk about the wines; the uniqueness of terroirs in the Azores, the rare and unusual grapes used, and the minimalist style of the wine growers.
